It can make you feel as though people are staring at you everywhere you go. More important the rug has been pulled out from underneath you. If you’re feeling over whelmed, angry and hopeless you’re not alone.
The Divorce statistics are staggering in today’s ever changing world.
I know, I’m one of those statistics. I’ve been there; it was a long and lonely journey to rediscover who I was and where I wanted to go. My world fell apart like a bomb exploding and I didn’t know which way to run. I was bombarded with advice from all angles, family, friends, and acquaintances, all very helpful but not necessarily what I needed OR wanted. I felt as though I had cement shoes on. I couldn’t move and I was sinking fast!
My new found life was overwhelming, confusing and I didn’t want it! I looked at my two toddlers one day and said “ I am all they have I need to strap my boots on and take this head on and get it together!” That was the last time I looked back. I sold my home most of our belongings and moved into a 2 bedroom condo.
Was it hard? Absolutely!
Was I frightened? Absolutely!
What could have made it easier? Someone to talk to without judgment and OR advice!
