My name is Stefanie Palermo Lagana, I am a ICF-Associate Certified Professional Life Coach, and Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner. I received my coach training and certification from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC), one of the country’s leading coaching schools. I'm a Certified Coach of the International Coaching Federation and serve on the Board  as Marketing Chair for the Connecticut Chapter. I earned a Bachelor’s degree from Georgian Court University and I have been in the creative field for over 20 years. I was a Sr. Art director in some of the top ad agencies in the world, Ogilvy & Mather Direct, Sachi & Sachi to name a few for most of my adult life. I have been recognized and honored for Individual Achievement by Cambridge’s Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women in April this year and a Monthly columnist for Today’s Teen Magazine.

I am the founder of Expanding Your Visions, a company that specializes in Teens & Parent Coaching. All of us want our children to be at the top of their game in school, sports and friendships. I help teens create their life instead of having life create them. I am passionate about empowering tomorrow’s leaders with essential life and leadership skills that they may make informed choices for a great future with confidence, self-worth, purpose, passion and inspiration.

I have two teenage children of my own, a 17 year old daughter, and a 14 year old boy. I was a single, 24/7 Mom for most of their lives. I have to admit it wasn't easy doing it on my own. I believe I can achieve anything I set out to accomplish, even if it's climbing Mt. Everest!  I have amazing children and I fully believe my coaching experience has helped mold them into the wonderful young adults they are today.

I believe life is a creative journey that is meant to be explored. As a single mother, who recently remarried, I decided to follow my passions; I wanted more from my life and career and embarked on a new journey.  Coaching has enhanced my life and all those who I encounter. I wake up every day loving what I do.  But best of all, I am using my creative background to help teens use creativity to find purpose and passion in their lives.

Children learn everything from their parents, teachers, family members and their peers. What better way to teach our children the Power of Choice, but through Coaching. Our children need to learn that every thought has a consequence, either good or bad, and that they have the Choice to determine how and what they think. Together, we can give them the opportunity to be empowered by who they are, what they have to offer and allow them to find their own path by learning what they truly believe in.

My purpose in coaching is to help build tomorrow’s leaders. Through coaching my clients they become more motivated, empowered and learn to shift their energy to accomplish their goals. People have said:
